Learn to Fly a Microlight
Learn to fly a microlight with Freedom Sports Aviation. We provide tuition on both fixed and flexwing microlight aircraft at Long Marston Airfield (photo), just 5 miles from Stratford upon Avon and 11 miles from the M40, junction 15. With both tarmac and grass runways we are able to fly and gain experience taking off and landing on different surfaces - ideal for microlight pilot training.
Your instructor will be Simon Baker, a CAA approved Instructor, three times World Champion pilot, Check Pilot and Competition Pilot for P&M Aviation. Simon has more than 8,000 flying hours experience. Tuition is one-to-one during daylight hours, seven days a week at times to suit you.
Flying instruction can be either on your own aircraft or one of the Club's craft. Most people use the Club’s aircraft.
Typically, students will fly for 1-2 hours per lesson with both pre and post flight briefings. Preparation for written exams is undertaken in the Club House.

Full Course Includes 25hrs tuition, 5 CAA exams, Oral exam, GFT, 1yr club membership, and 5hrs ground schooling. Any extra time required can be paid for pro-rata.
